Hurricane Earl Pendant, Silver with 14K Balls
Tropical storm Earl became a powerful hurricane in August of 2010, and did significant damage across the Lesser Antilles. It then intensified and brushed across the Virgin Islands, weakened, then gained strength again before passing through North Carolina. It repeated this pattern once more before landing in Nova Scotia, and finally dissipated north of Newfoundland. Each ball on this piece signifies the number of categories the storm was.
