Hurricane Isaac, 5mm, Silver & 14K Gold Ball
Hurricane Isaac was the fourth hurricane of the 2012 season. Before Isaac became a hurricane, he produced flooding rain across much of the Lesser and Greater Antilles. Haiti was particularly hard hit, and Cuba suffered damage as well. Isaac went on to pass over the Florida Keys, then made his way through the eastern Gulf of Mexico where he intensified to a Category 1, then made two landfalls in Louisiana. Each ball on this piece signifies the number of categories the storm was.
